FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of cleaning metal archeological finds of corrosion and may be used for preliminary restoration of applied art articles. Proposed method comprises mechanical cleaning, degreasing and etching combined with ultrasonic treatment and preservation. Note here that prior to etching, archeological article is subjected to microwave electromagnetic radiation at 2450 MHz, 0.5-1.0 kW, for 10-20 seconds.
EFFECT: intensified cleaning, better quality.
