FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to dentistry, and deals with treatment of destructive forms of chronic apical periodontitis of single-rooted and multirooted teeth. For this purpose preparation of carious cavity, opening of tooth cavity and access to root canals are performed. Extension of their orifice, removal of pulp disintegration, cleaning tooth root canals, their processing with medications and wide opening of apical tooth hole, behind which focus of periapical inflammation is located, are provided. Mechanical and drug removal of periapical pathologic exudative formations in focus of periapical inflammation is performed through root canal. Before filling canal with filling material in focus of periapical destruction mixture, which contains 2.0 g of calcipane and 2.0 g of kaolin, diluted with distilled water to paste-like consistency with ratio 3:1, is introduced into focus of periapical destruction until canal is completely filled. Additionally sublingually introduced is calcipane in dose 0.5 g 2 times per day during 30 days.

EFFECT: method ensures efficient treatment of disease excluding antibiotics, also due to acceleration of bone tissue regeneration, prevention of sensitisation and side effects.
