SUBSTANCE: method includes instrumental and medicamentous treatment of the tooth root canal with a 3% solution of sodium hypochlorite and a drug based on ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid without expanding the apical opening, followed by introduction of a drug based on calcium hydroxide for 10-14 days into the root canal. Then, after the re-treatment, the autologous blood of the patient enriched with platelets is injected into the tooth root canal, using an endodontic needle without a side cut in an amount of 0.1 to 2 ml, depending on the size of the periapical destruction site. EFFECT: application of the method allows to shorten the treatment time for destructive forms of chronic apical periodontitis, to optimize reparative osteogenesis in the region of bone tissue periapical destruction foci and to exclude side inflammatory reactions.
