FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, and may be used for prevention of pyoinflammatory wound complications in alloplasty of constricted postoperative ventral hernias. After a polypropylene mesh transplant is inserted and fixed by one of common alloplasty methods, a surface of the incisional wound and a prosthesis are processed by low-temperature argon plasma generated by KLS Martin apparatus. Argon supply rate is 2 l/min, pressure is 40 Watt, exposition is 5-8 sec per 1 cm, total exposure duration is 2-3 minutes.
EFFECT: method allows higher clinical effectiveness and reduced number of recurrences due to prevention of postoperative complications and faster elastic cicatrix formation.
