SUBSTANCE: invention relates to apparatus for controlling the fractionation process and can be used in chemical, pharmaceutical, oil refining and food industry. The apparatus for automatic control of the fractionation process has a fractionation column fitted with temperature sensors, a superheated steam flow regulator, a coolant flow regulator, a heating steam flow regulator, a first heat exchanger in the bottom part of the column, a second heat exchanger at the point where the feed mixture is fed, a first chromatograph connected to the column top temperature control which is connected to the coolant flow regulator, the output of which is connected through actuating devices to a dephlegmator, a second chromatograph connected to the column bottom temperature control which is connected to the heating steam flow regulator, the output of which is connected through actuating devices to the heat exchanger in the bottom part of the column, a feed mixture temperature control connected through actuating devices to the second heat exchanger, and a temperature profile adjustment unit which is in form of a unit for identifying the current value of the efficiency criterion of the fractionation column realising a given algorithm.

EFFECT: invention increases efficiency of a fractionation column.
