FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pulse electrochemical processing of high-alloy steels, alloys and composite conducting materials containing components with notable different electrochemical properties. Proposed method comprises processing workpiece in minor electrode gaps by sets of high-frequency microsecond anode or bipolar current pulses fed in-sync with instants of maximum convergence of oscillating electrode and workpiece, and adjusting acid number of electrolyte in electrode gap to preset value. Said adjustment consists in feeding extra cathode current pulse sets in gaps between aforesaid current pulses and varying extra cathode current pulse before and after appearance of transition kink on current pulse vertex caused by variation of electrode gal resistance and voltage controlled in processing by voltage oscillogram.
EFFECT: lower surface roughness, controlled processing.
