FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: shock absorber gasket for a rail brace is made of an elastic composite material in the form of a rectangular plate and comprises upper and lower surfaces, elastic elements on the lower and upper surfaces with different stiffness. At the same time elastic elements with lower stiffness have larger height relative to elements having high stiffness, and have different height relative to each other. On elastic elements there are grooves arranged as equal in depth, which in their cross section have a trapezoidal shape with a smaller base inside. The larger base makes 0.3-3.0 of gasket thickness, and the groove depth makes 0.1-0.3 of gasket thickness.

EFFECT: increased resource of shock absorber gasket operation under conditions of limit cyclic loads, higher durability of all parts in a rail brace.
