FIELD: railway transport; permanent way.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rail fasteners, namely, chairs pads placed under rail foot, for instance R-65 in rail fasteners FCR-65, FCR-1, etc. Proposed rail chair pad is made of composite thermoelastoplast in form of rectangular plate with two ribs from bottom on end faces along tie, and with uniformly arranged grooves on upper support surface in trapezoidal cross section with smaller base pointed inwards. Said chair pad contains additionally trapezoidal uniformly spaced cross section grooves on lower support surface with smaller base pointed inwards and parallel to grooves on upper support surface. Grooves on upper and lower support surfaces are made of equal height and arranged so that grooves on one support surface are located between grooves in center on other support surface. size of spaces between grooves is equal being 1-3 thickness of chair pad and height of grooves is 0.1 - 0.3 thickness of chair pad.

EFFECT: provision of reliable operation of rail fastening, increased service life of rail chair pad at cyclic loads in permanent way, prevention of rail creeping.
