FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: method to strengthen reinforced concrete structures includes cleaning of a surface concrete layer, fixation of a strengthening element and surface gunning. Prior to fixation of the strengthening element a carbon fibre net is previously fixed to a galvanised net. The created structure is fixed on a recovered surface. In 2-24 hours after application of a polymer-cement primer layer, onto the recovered surface and the attached nets an adhesive epoxide composition is applied. Layerwise gunning is carried out onto the freshly applied layer of the adhesive epoxide composition with a polymer-cement composition with inclusion of a filler. The first layer is applied by the method of wet gunning. The second layer is applied in 1-24 hours after application of the first layer.

EFFECT: increased bearing capacity of structures.
