SUBSTANCE: mobile communication system includes: a mobile station; a base station wirelessly connected to the mobile station; and a gateway device connected to the base station and the core network. The base station includes: a first transmitting apparatus for transmitting a registration message for registration of the mobile station in the gateway device; and a second transmitting device for transmitting a message relating to set up of an emergency call by the mobile station. The gateway device includes: a first receiving apparatus for receiving a registration message from the base station; a second apparatus for receiving from the base station a setup message relating to set up of an emergency call; and apparatus for checking whether the registration message and the set up message match.
