SUBSTANCE: mobile communication system includes: a mobile station; a base station wirelessly connected to the mobile station; and a gateway device connected to the base station and a core network. The base station includes: a first transmitting means for transmitting a registration message for registration of the mobile station in the gateway device; and a second transmitting means for transmitting a message relating to set-up of an emergency call by the mobile station. The gateway device includes: a first receiving means for receiving a registration message from the base station; a second receiving means for receiving from the base station a setup message relating to set-up of an emergency call; and means for checking whether the registration message and the set-up message match.

EFFECT: broader functional capabilities by providing a call service in a dead zone where radio waves from a macro base station cannot reach, providing a billing service, using high-speed technologies for high-speed packet transmission.
