SUBSTANCE: method involves: storing messages on a machine-readable data medium; using a processor to generate a message map which is a representation of the stored message, wherein when generating the message map, part of the message is replaced with a tag, said tag providing information on the replaced part of the message; and processing the message map instead of the stored message.
EFFECT: high efficiency and speed of parsing, modifying, reconstructing and formatting a message.
