FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: in a known method of cooling using microjets, where the cooled surface is exposed to a stream of cooling liquid in form of high-speed microjets, according to the invention, the high-speed microjets are generated by exposing the liquid to ultrasonic vibrations with frequency from 20 kHz to 1 MHz. Also, the speed of a separate microjet varies from 40 to 170 m/s.
EFFECT: high intensity and efficiency of cooling objects with a small cooling area.
