METHOD OF AIR FLOW AND RADIANT HEAT BODY CONDITIONING Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61H33/06 A61B18/02

Abstract RU 2452456 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and is applicable for body conditioning. For this purpose, a patient is exposed to air flow. It is combined with testing the conditioning parameters to be stiffened. An air conditioner is used as an air flow source. A conditioned air flow is directed towards a ceiling-mounted reflecting screen. A stationary radiant heat source is located above the screen. The body conditioning procedure involves controlling an air flow temperature and rate, a body surface and ambient air temperature. It is followed by determining a primary body reaction to conditioning procedure in the form of stage I - vessel constriction, procedure length, onset of a secondary reaction in the form of stage II - vasodilation and length stabilisation. If observing relatively quick reactions of stage I up to 2 minutes, the onset of stage II persistent for at least 4-5 minutes, good body adaptation to the body conditioning procedure is stated, and the procedure is allowed to be continued. Slower and more unstable reactions enable to state body adaptation not good enough and requiring the individual examination and the individual condition regimen to be applied.

EFFECT: method allows selecting the individual or few-group regimen of the body conditioning procedures providing more effective control of the procedure exposure on the patient and if observing inadequate reactions to changing the conditioning regimen change as required thereby promoting more effective conditioning.
