FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, more specifically to pharmacology and endocrinology. An agent for body growth stimulation contains an electron-beam-immobilised somatotrophic hormone by introducing the hormone into a low-molecular water-soluble polymer solution pre-exposed to ionising radiation 1-5 megarad.
EFFECT: agent effectively stimulates body growth in parenteral and oral introduction, exhibits low immunogenicity and may be used in pediatrics and endocrinology for the purpose of treating growth inhibition related to somatotrophic insufficiency.
