FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: device to remove icicles from a building roof comprises a source of mechanical oscillations arranged in the form of an electric drive of rotation, and a flexible waveguide interacting with it and made of a body arranged in the form of a flexible tube, and a metal rope stretching as capable of rotation via an inner hole of the body along its entire length. One end of the rope is fixed as capable of rotation on a bearing installed in one end part of the body and connected with a shaft of the electric drive of rotation, and the other end of the rope is fixed as capable of rotation on a bearing installed in the other end part of the body. The waveguide body is arranged in the form of a flexible polygonal tube with elastic walls and an inner polygonal hole. In the inner hole of the body there are longitudinal ledges. The waveguide body is fixed in movable flexible plummets under the building roof eave.
EFFECT: reduced labour intensiveness of device manufacturing and assembly.
