FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: cantilever overhang of building roof includes device for shock removal of snow, ice and icicles from overhang edge. Overhang band is attached to the edge by joints, and a system of permanent magnet pairs parallel to each other and magnetised in axial direction is mounted on the roof. Magnets of each pair face each other with opposite poles. The overhang hits the wall when rotating on the joint. Magnets in a pair are separated by non-magnetic element in the form of a cap with adjustable bottom thickness, and a horizontal rest with its length adjustable by threaded bushing is mounted on the wall.

EFFECT: reduced operational cost.
