SUBSTANCE: silicone through insulator includes current lead and bearing sleeve with metal flange, which envelops current lead so that a cavity is formed, which is fully filled with insulation layer of silicone rubber - vulcanised polymeric compound on basis of liquid synthetic rubbers the oligomers of which contain end functional groups. Compound has specific mechanical strength σr. Bearing sleeve is Lsl long and made from dielectric material with specific mechanical strength σsl and it speads throughout the length of insulating layer, and flange is provided with collars enclosing the bearing sleeve and spreading along it through length Lf. At that, the following ratios are met: σr<σsl; 1<Lsl/Lf<σsl/σr.
EFFECT: improving protection reliability of insulating body and areas adjacent to it against damage, partial or complete destruction or depressurisation, and increasing electrical and mechanical strength of through insulator as a whole.
