FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device includes solenoid connected to current source and including alternating flat metal and dielectric elements in the form of discs with axial holes and through slots, which are coaxially located between two metal collectors. Compression device presses collectors, metal and dielectric elements to each other so that conducting spiral is formed. Through slots of metal elements are made in the form of spirals enclosing longitudinal axis of solenoid. One end of spiral is located on external side surface of metal element and the other end is located on its internal side surface. Dielectric gaskets are installed inside spiral slots. Through slots of dielectric elements are made in turn either inside or outside the disc. Metal elements can also be equipped with projections entering the slots of the nearest dielectric elements, which can provide electric contact between adjacent metal elements, as well as between extreme metal elements and collectors.
EFFECT: elimination of non-uniform current spreading in metal elements in pulse mode and removal of restriction for the number of turns in conducting spiral at maintaining high mechanical strength of solenoid.
