FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: one or more messages on the person of the called user are first generated in the device of the called telephone network user and then sent to the telephone network. In the telephone network, the telephone number of the device of the called user is determined, messages are converted to a form suitable for transmission in data networks and then transmitted to a data network. One or more messages on the person of the called user and the telephone number of the called user are stored in an intermediate data network device. A message on the person of the called user is then generated in the device of the calling data network user and sent to the data network. In the intermediate data network device, the address of the device of the calling user is determined; the received and stored messages on the person of the calling user are compared; the telephone number of the device of the called telephone network user is determined based on the comparison result; a connection with the telephone network is established, while generating the telephone number of the device of the called user and generating a message on the beginning of a communication session, and said message is sent to the address of the device of the calling data network user. During the communication session, signals are received in the intermediate data network device from the device of the called user; said signals are converted to a form suitable for transmission over data network channels and then sent to the address of the device of the calling user; communication session data packets are received from the device of the calling user, converted to a form suitable for transmission over a telephone network channel and sent to a channel for connection with the device of the called user.
EFFECT: allowing a user to organise their own address space and ensuring protection from unauthorised communication sessions when conducting communication sessions between different telecommunication networks.
