FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to obstetrics. Afterbirth is separated to two centimeters from the edges of uterus cut on entire wound edge after Cesarean section. Placenta is gripped and removed from uterus cut without rapture of membrane in such a way that only membranes remain in the cavity. Membranes are brought down to the level of lower uterus segment by means of a napkin. Light pressure with hand is performed on posterior wall of uterus until between it and fetal membranes free space in formed. Fetal membranes are gripped with a napkin near lower pole and removed.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to remove afterbirth from uterus cavity with high efficiency, reduces blood loss volume, minimises frequency of endometritis in early post-operation period.
