FIELD: composite materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technologies for creating current sources, namely, cathode materials for multiple-acting alkaline current sources and a method for obtaining them. The composite material contains nickel hydroxide, carbon nanostructures: carbon nanotubes, carbon nanofibers, graphene-like material, and polytetrafluoroethylene used as a binder. The method for obtaining a cathode composite material includes the synthesis of nickel hydroxide by precipitation from an aqueous solution of nickel nitrate with ammonium hydroxide, while the synthesis of hydroxide is carried out directly on the surface of carbon nanostructures.

EFFECT: high electrical conductivity and cyclic stability.
