FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in that close device is fitted into opening for its sealing, and first umbrella is opened to be pressed against tank wall around formed opening. Then, second umbrella is opened on opposite side of sealed wall to pull both umbrellas together and press them to wall on its both sides. Sealant is fitted into space between umbrellas to separate device actuator from umbrellas fitted in place and to seal space there between filled with sealant. Proposed device comprises tubular bar with first umbrella fitted on its end and sleeve fitted thereon axially and provided with second umbrella. Push rod is arranged atop said sleeve to open in turn said first and second umbrellas by spring. Tubular bar is jointed to sealant press-in appliance and may be detached to separate device actuator from umbrellas.
EFFECT: fast and reliable sealing.
