SUBSTANCE: oxygen, a reducing agent and iron recovered in at least one recovery reactor are introduced into the melter gasifier, the reducing agent is gasified with oxygen and the reduced iron is melted with the heat generated during this process. In this case, dome gas from the melter gasifier is used as at least a portion of the reducing gas and the reacted exhaust gas is removed from the reducing reactor. At least part of the thermal energy of the exhaust gas and/or part of the reducing gas provided for use as a refrigerant gas and the excess gas is used for indirect heating, at least one of the other, used in the gas process. The other gases used in the process are the exhaust gas which is returned to the reactor after, at least, cooling and cleaning, the exhaust gas introduced into the melter gasifier, after at least cooling and cleaning, oxygen for the melter gasifier.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of utilisation of raw materials and energy.
