FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: initial materials in the first zone of recovery are directly recovered to sponge iron, which is melted in a melting gasifier to produce generator gas containing CO and H2. Generator gas is cooled, dust is removed, and the first fraction of recovery gas produced during dust removal is introduced into the first zone of recovery in the form of the first recovery gas, exposed to conversion and discharged in the form of waste gas, which is then exposed to dust removal by washing, and after removal of dust it is partially or fully exposed to compression and washing from CO2. After removal of CO2, at least the fraction A of gas treated from CO2 is added to the generator gas after its discharge from the melting gasifier, besides, the generator gas is cooled. And the second part of the recovery gas produced when removing dust is supplied as the second recovery gas into one additional zone of recovery for direct recovery of additional iron ore when adding the fraction B of gas treated from CO2 after its heating.
EFFECT: reduced consumption of energy and accordingly CO2 emission per product unit.
