FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: raw material containing iron ore, and namely fine ore, and additives if required, is partially reduced with a reducing gas in reducing units (R1, R2, R3, R4). The first fraction of partially reduced raw material is molten in a melting gasificator at supply of carbon carrier, and namely coal, and oxygen-containing gas at simultaneous formation of reducing gas. The latter is carried to the reducing unit, and after it passes through the reducing unit, it is discharged in the form of blast-furnace gas or gas unloaded by a consumer. The second fraction of partially reduced raw material is supplied for reduction and melting to an additional plant for reducing melting. Amount of the second fraction of partially reduced raw material is 10-60%, and namely 20-40%, in terms of iron content in all iron carrier that are introduced to the reducing melting plant.
