FIELD: physics, robotics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to robotics. The transportation robot having an on-board location system has a platform 1, wheels 2, 3 and 4, torque motors 15, 24 and 25, cruise motors, sensors of the turning angle and rotational speed of the first, second and third wheels 2, 3 and 4 and an on-board computer network. The navigation marker elements used in the robot according to the first version are light-emitting beacons 87 and a light-contrast strip according to the second version. The on-board location system of the robot according to the first version has a table 74 and posts 91 through which the table 74 is mounted on a platform 1 parallel to it, and the on-board location system has on the table 74 a light-reflecting cone 75 and a photographic lens 76 with a photodetector array 77 placed in the focal plane of the photographic lens 76. The on-board location system of the robot according to the second version has an optocoupler line and a second controller for the on-board location system, wherein the optocoupler line is mounted on an arm support parallel the bearing plane and parallel the axis of rotation of the first wheel.
EFFECT: high manoeuvrability of the transportation robot and broader functional capabilities of the robot.
