FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method of operation is intended for large-sized two-stroke diesel engine 1 with cylinder longitudinal blow-out equipped with piston 20 reciprocating in cylinder 2 between TDC and BDC. Fuel is injected into engine cylinder 2 by injection nozzle. Inlet of cylinder 2 has blow-out openings 3 to feed blow-out air. Cylinder head incorporates discharge valve to release combustion gases 6. In compliance with proposed method, fresh air forced in by ambient pressure is sucked in by first exhaust gas turbosupercharger 8, 81 and/or by second turbosupercharger 8, 82. Fresh air is fed into cylinder 3 as blow-out air 4 at preset forced air pressure via blow-out openings 3 to make gas mix of air 4 and fuel inside cylinder 2. There is, at least, one pressure regular 9, 91, 92, 93 to decrease exhaust gas flow rate via aforesaid first or second turbocharger 8, 81 or 8, 82. Proposed method comprises decreasing exhaust gas flow rate via said first or second turbosupercharger subject to engine preset working parameter. Invention covers also large-sized two-stroke diesel engine 1 with cylinder longitudinal blow-out to implement above described method.
EFFECT: better blow-out.
