FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: molecular-electronic angular motion sensor, having a closed hollow channel, e.g., in form of a toroid, filled with a redox electrolyte, and at least one converting electrode structure (diffusion converter) comprising electrodes in form of conducting loops with protrusions, deposited on a dielectric plate which is one of the walls of said channel. Said conducting loops lie outside the inner surface of the channel, and the electrode protrusions lie inside the channel on its inner surface across the axial line of the channel, wherein some of the electrodes serve as cathodes and the others as anodes, said converting electrode structure of the diffusion converter has at least three electrodes, at least two of which are cathodes and the other an anode, and in the region where the electrodes cross there are elements - dielectric layers - separating said electrodes and forming a multilayer planar structure. Also, neighbouring anode and cathode protrusions inside the channel lie in the following cyclic order: anode(s) - cathode 1 - cathode 2 - anode(s); also, the distance between neighbouring electrode protrusions and the width of these electrode protrusions ranges from 1 mcm to 3 mm.
