FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to infectology and pathologic anatomy. In order to estimate cerebral microvascular disorders during bacterial purulent meningitis morphologic examination of cerebral vessels is performed. Morphologic symptoms are detected: spasm and/or paresis of vessels, desquamation of endothelium, perivascular hemorrhages, vessel thrombosis, perivascular neutrophilic infiltration. Each symptom is given value in points, obtained values are summed up. Expression of cerebral microvascular disorders is estimated by sum of the points.
EFFECT: method increases accuracy of estimation of cerebral microvascular disorders during bacterial purulent meningitis.
