FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing 3',4',5,6-tetrahydro-1H-spiro[pyridine-4,5'-thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine] derivatives of general structural formula: 1. R=Me X=CO2Me Ar-Ph, 2. R=Et X=CO2Me Ar=Ph, 3. R=Et X=CO2Me Ar=C6H4-p-Cl, 4. R=Et X=CO2Me Ar=C6H4-o-Ome, which involves holding 5,6,7,8-tetrahydropyrido[4',3':4,5]thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidin-4(3H)-ones of general structural formula: where R and Ar assume said value, in acetonitrile with three moles of dimethyl acetylene dicarboxylate while boiling the solvent for 2-5 days; at the end of the reaction the solvent is evaporated; the obtained residue is cleaned via column chromatography on silica gel; the eluent is a mixture of ethyl acetate and hexane in ratio 1:3.
