FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: centrifugal pumping unit is equipped with electrical drive motor (4) and control device (6) equipped with frequency converter (8) and designed for control of rotation frequency of drive motor (4); at that, control device (6) is made so that field weakening occurs in drive motor (4) in control range (S3), due to which the rotation frequency of drive motor (4) increases. In control device (6) before frequency converter (8) there activated is voltage converter (10, 12) by means of which the output voltage of frequency converter (8) in the first control range (S1) changes by changing the intermediate voltage (UVCD), while frequency converter (8) operates at maximum filling factor for its output voltage, or the output voltage of frequency converter (8) in the second control range (S2) changes by reducing the filling factor of frequency converter (8) at unchangeable intermediate voltage (UVCD).
EFFECT: possibility of using maximum power.
