FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: cell is characterised by presence of a housing, a diaphragm, electrodes with current leads, and a system of channels in the walls of the housing for inlet and outlet of the analysed liquid, wherein the housing has a working cavity and two cylindrical cavities lying in the top part of the housing over the working cavity; in the central part of the working cavity there is a diaphragm which divides it into two chambers and having a channel which connects said chambers; the chambers have optical windows on holders which are made in form of discs attached by their peripheral parts to ends of said chambers, and hollow cylindrical inserts connected to the central part of the discs on one side, while optical windows are mounted on the other side. The electrodes are in form of rings and are placed outside the inserts of the optical window holder coaxially with said inserts, and their current leads are tightly mounted in the cylindrical cavities of the housing. In the bottom part of the chambers of the working cavity there are channels for inlet and outlet of the analysed liquid, and on the side walls of the cylindrical cavities of the housing there are channels for outlet of excess analysed liquid.
