SUBSTANCE: layers with large optical thicknesses equal to dn=x•λref/4 and simultaneously dn=y•λtr/4, where λref is the average wavelength of the reflection band of the optical dielectric mirror, λtr is the average wavelength of the transmission band of the optical dielectric mirror, x, y are whole numbers such that x=y±1, are made from ferroelectric material or another optically active material, which provides change in refraction index based on electro-optical, acousto-optical, thermo-optical and mechano-optical effects.
EFFECT: optical switching on at least one output with rate of signal transmission of the nanosecond order, while maintaining accuracy and reliability of the signal.
