SUBSTANCE: group of disclosed inventions relates to a method of removing a connecting element, a method of fitting a connecting element and an electrophotographic light-sensitive drum unit, used for a process cartridge which is detachably fitted into the main unit of an electrophotographic image forming apparatus. The invention discloses methods of removing a connecting element, meant for removal from the flange of a drum, fitted on an electrophotographic light-sensitive drum, used with a process cartridge which is detachably fitted into the main unit of an electrophotographic image forming apparatus, of a connecting element for detecting a rotary force, meant for rotating the electrophotographic light-sensitive drum, from the main unit of the apparatus in a state where the process cartridge is fitted into the main unit of the apparatus, as well as a method of fitting the connecting element, the electrophotographic light-sensitive drum unit, the electrophotographic light-sensitive drum unit for the electrophotographic image forming apparatus and the electrophotographic light-sensitive drum unit for the process cartridge.
EFFECT: simple method of assembling a process cartridge, simple method of removing and fitting a connecting element for assembling an electrophotographic light-sensitive drum unit in which removing and fitting the connecting element is easy.
