FIELD: image forming devices.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of removing a connecting element and a unit of an electrophotographic light-sensitive drum, used for a process cartridge installed with possibility of removal into the main assembly of an electrophotographic image forming device. Disclosed electrophotographic photosensitive drum unit comprises: (a) a cylinder having a light-sensitive layer on its outer periphery, (b) a drum flange provided at one end of the cylinder, wherein the drum flange includes at least two projections provided inside the drum flange and projecting radially inside the drum flange, with a space provided diametrically between the two projections, note here that every said protrusion protrudes radially inside drum flange by larger value in position located farther from cylinder than it protrudes in position closer to cylinder, and each of two projections is provided with recess to facilitate projection deformation.

EFFECT: technical result is the development of an easily feasible method of removing a connector, as well as in development of electrophotographic photosensitive drum unit, in which removal of connecting element is easy to implement, and in development of electrophotographic photosensitive drum unit, in which installation of connecting element is easy to implement.
