FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions includes units of an electrophotographic light-sensitive drum, comprising: a cylinder, having a light-sensitive layer on its external periphery; and a drum flange mounted at one end of said cylinder, wherein said drum flange includes a plurality of protrusions provided inside said drum flange and protruding radially inwards from the drum flange, with a gap diametrically between said protrusions, wherein each protrusion has a recess for light deformation of said protrusions, and a method of removing a connecting element, intended for removing a connecting element from the drum flange mounted on the electrophotographic light-sensitive drum to transfer a rotational force to the drum flange in order to rotate the electrophotographic light-sensitive drum, wherein the method includes a tilting step where the connecting element is tilted relative to the rotational axis of the drum flange. The connecting element includes a rear end part held in the drum flange, having a spherical part and a pin which passes through said spherical part, and a free end part having a rotational force receiving part; a step for forced displacement of the pin, where the pin is pushed from one end to the other, wherein said one end and the other end of the pin protrude out of the spherical part in a state in which the connecting element is tilted on said tilting step, wherein the drum flange has a preventing part for preventing disengagement of the spherical part with the drum flange, and an external part provided outside the preventing part in the direction of the rotational axis of the flange; a step for advancing the pin where part of the pin, further protrusion of which at the end is provided through said forced displacement step, is forced to advance on said external part; and a step for removing the connecting element, where the connecting element is removed from the drum flange by applying a force to the free end part of the connecting element in the direction towards the fulcrum and which is part of the advancement of the pin on the external part.

EFFECT: easily implemented method of removing a connecting element, design of an electrophotographic light-sensitive drum unit in which removal of the connecting element is easy to carry out, and design of an electrophotographic light-sensitive drum unit in which installation of the connecting element is easy to carry out.
