FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to dentistry and is intended for clinical estimation of degree of dental filling wear after therapeutic treatment of patients with different forms of uncomplicated and complicated dental caries. Degree of dental prosthesis wear is determined taking into account objective estimation of dental filling state and subjective patient's assessment. Taking into account ranged criteria for estimation of state of dental filling parameters and subjective patient's assessment coefficient of degree of dental filling wear is determined by formula in % W=[Vtot×k/84]×100%, where: W is coefficient of degree of dental filling wear, %; Vtot is sum of points of criteria for estimation of state of dental filling parameters; k is coefficient of patient's opinion about analysed filling; 84 is coefficient characterising complete wear of dental filling. Each further parameter of restoration correspondence is secondary with respect to the previous one as to clinical importance and is placed in ascending order depending on increase of level of dental filling defectiveness, excluding first criteria of estimation of each of the parameters, which are given 1 point, corresponding to ideal state of filling for said parameter. In the course of clinical analysis patients give subjective assessment to dental filling. Tactics of patient's treatment id selected basing on analysis of results depending on values of coefficient of dental filling wear degree. W values lower than 11.9% reflect satisfactory state of restoration, its value from 12% to 38% corresponds to recommendation to substitute part of filling to eliminate an inessential defect, replacement of entire filling with revision of caries cavity with its further monitoring is indicated if coefficient from 38.1% to 89.1% is obtained, and with coefficient value equal 89.2% and higher complete removal of filling with restoration of its anatomical shape by means of orthopedic constructions is recommended.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to characterise qualitative results of therapeutic treatment in the nearest and distant terms, determine indications for selection of method and tactics for treatment of hard dental tissue pathology due to expression of objective estimation of dental filling state carried out by a dentist and subjective patient's opinion about degree of dental filling wear in quantitative terms.
