FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: actuator 8 consists of power supply 1 with ballast 2 connected to with its welding circuit and switching device 3 connected is parallel thereto. Comparator 4 to compare arc voltage to master voltage, pause duration generator 5, relay 6 with two outputs and pulse duration generator 7 are connected in series. One of outputs of relay 8 is directly connected to device 8 while another output is connected thereto via unit 7. Unit 5 is connected to output of unit 4 comparing voltages during pause. Short-circuit transducer 12 running during pulse to limit current amplitude irrespective of short circuit occurrence, i.e. during pause or pulse.
EFFECT: higher quality of weld seam, decreased weight and sizes, reduced power consumption.
