FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method to remove snow and ice from a roof includes melting of snow and ice, at the same time icicles are first cut from roof eaves with the help of at least one steam jet, then ice and snow are melted in the gutter system by means of steam supply into water pipe drains and gutters of the gutter system, afterwards snow and ice are melted on the roof by supply of steam jets.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, reliability and safety of snow and ice removal from a roof, reduced power inputs, simplified process of snow and ice removal, expanded area of snow and ice removal.
