FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: roof protection method involves fixation along the roof edge of tubular elements provided with air outlet holes and connected to an air duct via which air is supplied. Before air is supplied to the air duct, relative air humidity is decreased to 10-15% by means of a hygrostat made in the form of a leak tight box provided with an air outlet branch pipe, a labyrinth channel formed with a system of trays filled with moisture-absorbing material and an air intake branch pipe with a fan.
EFFECT: improved operating reliability of a roof.
