SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ICE fluid injector. Injector has main injection axis (AB) and comprises: nozzle 2, case 1, drive 2, needle 4 and exciters. Nozzle 3 is coupled with case 1. Nozzle 3 comprises injection orifice and seat 5. Drive 2 displaces axially in case 1 to excite vibrations of needle 4. Drive 2 comprises first, second and third parts. First part 21 is coupled with needle 4. Second part 22 comprises electrically active material 221. Exciters generate vibrations in second part 22 with period τ to initiate acoustic waves. Parts 21, 22, 23 are coupled to make a unit. Said unit has axial opposite boundaries C, D. Distance L between said boundaries is selected to make acoustic wave propagation time T satisfy the equation: Ti=ni*[τ/2], where ni is positive integer multiple other than zero with i=3, 4 for said first and second distances. Invention covers also ICE with said device.
EFFECT: symmetric resonance drive structure, ordered operation of injector.
