FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: method involves device of rupturing strips and laying drains along them; along the length of drained rupturing strips through the distance of 200-500 metres storage ponds are arranged with a depth of at least two metres, the drains from perforated pipes are laid to a depth of no more than 1.5 m, making them slopeless; thereat their head walls are brought out storage ponds and are equipped with adjusting valves, and the mineral soil, extracted during the construction of storage ponds, is distributed on the surface of the rupturing strip at the farthest site from the storage ponds. In addition, one of the storage ponds can have hydraulic connection with the water receiver both for removal of excess water in spring, and for replenishment of system of storage ponds with lack of water during the drought.
EFFECT: invention provides a more effective prevention of the flame propagation on peats.
