FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Liquid metal is continuously fed from container 1 onto horizontal surface of table 12. Said container is displaced relative to table in straight direction. Simultaneously, flow of disperse particles of refractory metal is fed from bin 8 onto metal surface. Refractory particles are entrapped by growing dendrites in metal crystallisation. Conveyor reaching table edge, bin 5 is shut off to move conveyor back. Liquid metal flows on formed sheet or strip. Simultaneously, disperse particles are fed from bin 6 onto metal surface. Conveyor reciprocates unless sheet or strip thickness reaches preset value.
EFFECT: higher strength.
