FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry, particularly, to production of steel tube billet with hardened outer and inner surfaces. Melt is fed from steel-teeming ladle into mould revolving at 600 rpm. Refractory dispersed particles of tungsten carbide are fed into melt flow. After teeming 25% of said melt, feed of tungsten carbide is terminated. Then, particles of silicon carbide are fed into melt flow and, at a time, mould revolution speed is increased to 800 rpm. After teeming 75% of said melt, feed of silicon carbide is terminated. Then, particles of titanium carbide are fed into melt flow and, at a time, mould revolution speed is decreased to 600 rpm. Teeming over, titanium carbide feed is terminated.
EFFECT: higher refractory and mechanical properties.
