FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: sensor has an acoustic line on whose working surface there is a transceiving interdigital transducer, and a housing on which the acoustic line is attached. The interdigital transducer is connected by gold leads to the leads of the housing. There is a press roller on the cover which is pressed to the acoustic line by a U-shaped spring. The ends of the U-shaped spring pass through a plastic tube through which a rod passes, through which the roller can move on the surface of the acoustic line. The ends of the spring rest on the cover, which provides the necessary pressing of the roller to the surface of the acoustic line.
EFFECT: remote measurement of distance by which a measuring object moves, simple design owing to elimination of the need to maintain a gap between acoustic lines.
