FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises heating slab to temperature exceeding Ac3, roughing, subcooling, finishing, accelerated sheet surface cooling followed by decelerated cooling in air at rack. High strength and viscous properties distributed uniformly over sheet cross-section result from adjustment of finishing temperature T"кп" in the range of 800÷840°C, that if accelerated cooling in the range of 520÷580°C, and that of decelerated cooling rate of 7.5÷10°C/h.
EFFECT: higher quality of hot-rolled steel.
