FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: workpiece from micro-alloy steel with the specified chemical composition is subject to hot roughing-down in the range of 970÷1110°C at single relative swagings of not less than 12%; then, to finish rolling with temperatures of the beginning of rolling of 800±20°C and end of rolling of 710±10°C at single relative swaging in the last finishing pass of 5-7%. After finish rolling the plate is quickly cooled at the cooling rate of 10-16°C/sec to the temperature of 575±15°C.
EFFECT: providing improved mechanical properties in hot-rolled plate, which are the same across the plate section.
