FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention aims at increasing quality of hot-rolled sheets from K60 strength tube steel for making large-diameter tubes for main pipelines. Proposed method comprises hot rolling at specified operating conditions. Producing hot-rolled stock from micro-alloyed selected chemical composition of the 25-27 mm-thick tubes with identical mechanical properties over sheet cross-section is allowed by controlling temperatures of hot roughing at 1110-970°C, finishing of 830±20°C, hot rolling of 820±15°C, as well as sheet accelerated cooling temperature of 615±15°C, and sheet cooling rate after finishing of 16-20°C/sec.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
