FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: slab workpiece is obtained from steel with the specified chemical composition; workpiece is heated to temperature of 1000-1100°C, and roughing-down is performed at that temperature and at single relative swagings of not less than 12%; rolled metal is cooled to temperature of the beginning of finish rolling, which is equal to 810±20°C; finish rolling is performed at temperature of end of rolling of 805±15°C; and plate with thickness of 26-27 mm is obtained; after that, quick cooling of plate surface is performed from temperature of not less than 760°C to temperature of 560°C at cooling rate of 12-18°C/sec.
EFFECT: providing improved mechanical properties in hot-rolled plate, which are equal across the section and correspond to strength class K60.
